Softball New Brunswick COED Slo Pitch Rules

 2023 Softball Canada Slo-Pitch Canadian Championships

This is a call for adult (men's and women's) slo-pitch teams who wish to attend the 2023 Softball Canada Slo-Pitch Championships being held in Dorchester, ON from August 13-19th, 2023. Softball New Brunswick will be sending one (1) team per division (1 Men's Team, 1 Women's Team).

Teams must be registered with Softball New Brunswick to be deemed eligible.

If more than one (1) team per division expresses interest in attending the Canadian Championships, a qualifying event will take place. Teams will be eligible for up to a maximum of three (3) pickups, and will follow the order of qualifier standings (1st place gets first pick, 2nd place gets second pick, and so on). Pickups must be made from pool of registered members of Softball NB in good standing.

Performance Bond

Teams that express interest in attending the 2023 Canadian Championships must submit a $2,000 performance bond in the form of a cheque, made payable to Softball New Brunswick by the deadlines listed below. This cheque will only be cashed if the teams fails to fulfill their commitment or does not comply with either Softball Canada or Softball New Brunswick policies and procedures.

• Division (I.e. Men's Slo-Pitch or Women's Slo-Pitch)
• Main Contact, Email, and Phone Number
• Roster (Does not have to be final at this time)

Deadlines to submit your teams intent to attend the Canadian Championships is Saturday, April 15th
