Completing our requirements is more than just a checkbox:
- It creates a better experience for volunteers by giving them tools and knowledge that makes their role easier and more enjoyable.
- It improves the overall quality of coaching and teaching techniques, benefitting the long term development of athletes
- It helps protect the safety and wellbeing of our athletes

U13-U20 Eastern Canadian Softball Championship Coaching Requirements
A minimum of one (1) coach on the Eastern Canadian Softball Championship Roster is required to be a minimum of Competition-Introduction TRAINED.
All additional coaches are required to meet Minimum Coaching Requirements (Assistant Coach Requirements in the chart above).
U15-U20 Canadian Championship Coaching Requirements
A minimum of one (1) coach on the Canadian Championship Roster is required to be a minimum of Competition-Introduction CERTIFIED.
All additional coaches are required to be a minimum of Competition-Introduction TRAINED.
Canada Games Coaching Requirements
The Head Coach on the Canada Games Roster is required to be Competition-Development CERTIFIED. (Must achieve by February 1 of the year of the Canada Games)
The Assistant Coach and Manager on the Canada Games Roster is required to be a minimum of Competition-Development TRAINED. (Must achieve by February 1 of the year of the Canada Games)
